The big topic of conversation in Sweden is the fact that Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden, married a commoner in April 2011. Gasp! And I missed out on the entire controversy, not to mention the fact that Victoria and her husband had a baby, Princess Estelle, February 2012. Royalty just is not what it once was.

It was very nice evening so I settled down on our stateroom’s veranda with my camera
and watched Stockholm recede in the distance. In the foreground is my gimpy right
foot with the special shoe.
This Silja Line ferry followed us through the Stockholm archipelago. This ferry
is almost as large as the ms Eurodam. It was carrying many trailer trucks
as well as the usual assortment of buses and cars.
Sunset. We were still in the archipelago two hours later.
A parting of ways: Finally we reached the Baltic and the Silja Line ferry went east
to Helsinki while we went south-west to Warnemude, Germany.
