Barge on one of the wider canals
Apartments with beams for tackles to lift goods into the higher floors.
While I was photographing canal scenes, a barge pulled even with me. The barge, mostly empty, contained some young people and some other people with serious cameras. The people with the cameras began photographing the young people, so I photographed all of it. Are they up-coming stars, models, or something else? Perhaps someone can fill me in.

One of Amsterdam’s larger industries is a clearing house for flowers. While many flowers are raised locally, flowers also come to the auction houses from other countries. Once sold by auction, the flowers are then shipped to their destinations in other countries; primarily, but not exclusively, countries in Europe.
