Monte Carlo, roughly translated, is Carl’s Mountain.
This is a view of three countries: Monaco is on the left. France is on the peninsula
extending to the right. Italy is the mountains in the center distance.
Statue of a Formula One racing car. Grand Prix racing is held here every year.
I photographed this largely because I loved the lighting. Other tourists might find it interesting that this cathedral is the final resting place of Princess Grace, a.k.a. Grace Kelly.
Then we went home, a two legged trip. Nice to Paris; Paris to Chicago.
Terminal K. This terminal seemed to go on forever. Our gate was at the far end.
